1987 Founded The Realty Company which primarily focuses on sales, management and development of real estate in Southwest Florida

1998 Co-founded with James E. Ivey, Jr., Big Island Excavating, Inc., a mining company located in Eastern Collier County

1999 A founding Director of Marine National Bank located in Collier County.  As a Director, he served as Chair of the Audit committee, on the ALCO (asset liability committee) committee, the Loan committee, and assisted in the preparation of the strategic plan

2003 Marine National was bought by Old Florida Bank and William was selected to represent the shareholders of Marine National and serve on the new Board of Old Florida Bank, until its sale to Bank of Florida in 2007

Committee Involvement
William is a Founder and present President of the Corkscrew Island Neighborhood Association.  He was appointed chairman of the East of 951 Horizon Study Committee and served in this position until late 2008. He also served as member of Rural Land Stewardship Committee, another Collier County Commission appointment from 2008-2009.
